Hagerman Township was located in Parry Sound District along Highway 124 between Parry Sound and Sundridge. Its largest community was Dunchurch. In 2000, Hagerman was combined with the surrounding unorganized area to create the Municipality of Whitestone, and the fire department became part of the Whitestone Fire Department.
