Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken is a 1991 film about Sonora Webster (Gabrielle Anwar), a rider of diving horses. It is based on events in her life. It was filmed in the small town of Orangeburg, South Carolina on the McCants family farm; Emily Haynes was related to them. Sonora and her sister, Arnette French, heard the film together, but she was dissatisfied with its romanticism of her life despite its appeal to the general public.
