The music was composed by Charles Strouse , and the lyrics were written by Martin Charnin. The plot follows a girl named Annie who has a plucky red haired girl. Who dreams of life out of the orphanage, one day a guy named Oliver Warbucks wants to spend time with an orphan, for an entire week. So he sent his assistant Grace Farrell to find an orphan to adopt.
