The previous incarnation of the Nineteenth met with a tragic end many years ago when the foolish then-General Schenitz personally oversaw the destruction of four entire cohorts of soldiers by ordering them deep into the Abyss, believing he had trapped an enemy commander - when it was discovered that it was he, himself, that had been drawn into a trap. After Schenitz' disgraceful end, the Nineteenth's remaining cohorts were disbanded and transferred into existing legion vacancies.
