Charlene entered Mopatop's Shop in the episode "The Flying Chicken". She really wanted to fly like other birds as she is sick of pecking around in the dust and sitting on eggs. Puppyduck tries to explain to her that chickens can't fly, but Mopatop is sure they can figure something out and they pull out the big how to do things book, but nothing works. Then by accident Charlene ends up in a basket with balloons attached to it and she takes off. But then a new problem arises, she's scared of heights. She ends up going home with Moosey Mouse's paper airplane as she can fly it without going up and up and up and none of the other birds in the yard can fly a plane.
