A Rapier Wasp is presumed to be a small wasp-like creature. Rapier Wasps are first mentioned in the thirteenth episode, "Forever Fall", during which Jaune Arc is asked to collect some for Cardin Winchester. However, they are only shown as a buzzing cardboard box with a "W" on the front. They are said to be attracted to sweet things such as the red sap from the trees in the Forever Fall forest. They are named after the rapier, a sword that has a long, thin blade designed for stabbing. It presumably references their stinger.
