Shugo Chara! + Nurarihyon no Mago is a crossover of Shugo Chara! and Nurarihyon no Mago:Sennen Makyou (Viz: Nura:Rise of the Yokai Clan - Demon Capital). The story doesn't using the official characters as the mains but 'choosing' the main official character of Nuramago, Rikuo Nura, a main fan fiction character as the secondary main character, Rumi Himezawa, and another main fan fiction character as the third and the vice from Shugo Chara! fan fictional character, Miki Taiyōin. The story starts when Rikuo heard the issues about a nine-tailed fox (literally Shinoda fox) and also the Lord of Pandemonium who lived on the Osaka Castle, Hagoromo Gitsune. Some days after that, Rikuo having a new classmate that also called as the mysterious girl, Rumi Himezawa, who know that Rikuo is a yōkai.
