The Battle of Tython was a battle during the Clone Wars. It took place between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The Jedi Order also participated. The Confederacy of Independent Systems suffered extremely heavy losses, and the Republic victory did not come without itʻs price, they lost over half of their clone troopers. Master Yoda thought it would be wise to send Jac-Al Deatl to Tython to lead the troops since it was his homeland. General Grievous was sent to Tython under Count Dooku's orders, to retrive ancient Jedi relics that if found could have very well turned the tide of the war.
