During the Cold War, a skirmish between the forces of the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire occurred above the planet of Javaal. The skirmish was the result of imperial ships ambushing Republic patrol ships. The Imperials were led by a notorious Intelligence Agent who lost his life during the battle. The skirmish was resolved when pilots of the Coruscant Aegis squadron came to aid the patrol and destroyed the Imperial attackers.
