Yohann Auvitu (b. July 27th 1989 in France) is a professional defenceman who plays in the SM-Liiga for JYP Jyväskylä. The young offensive defenceman has been invited in 2008 to move to Finland by his former head coach Ari Salo to play in Jyväskylä, first with JYP's junior team, then with D Team, their Mestis affiliate.
