Yenliya was a female Tezwan later trained as a peace keeping officer by Christine Vale in late 2379 when the USS Enterprise-E took control of Tezwa. Yenliya was a member of Tenila's team that was part of the strike force that traveled to Anara-Zel aboard the runabout USS Tunguska to capture a contraband cargo shipment intended to implicate the Tholians in the construction of the nadion-pulse cannons on Tezwa. As the team entered the building, a rounds of plasma fire from Tezwan insurgents struck Yenliya through the stairs, vaporizing her knee. (TNG novel: A Time to Heal)
