Henry Osmund (Played by Ronald Dawson) was an art restorer and a specialist in the works of Charles Delaware Tate. Professor Stokes enlisted Henry's services to remove the top layer of paint from a Tate landscape of an Indian Hill, owned by Julia Hoffman, which revealed the portrait of Amanda Harris under it, dated to 1895.
