System Update 3.0 is an Enabler-like item which belongs loose in the System Folder. It works with any variant of System 7.1. Its functions were merged into System 7.5, which makes this file redundant for System 7.5 users. Aside from incorporating all improvements and ehancements from Hardware System Update 1.0 and 2.0.1, the update fixed odd crashes, especially a crash that would occur if more than 20 disks appeared on the Desktop.
