Otsoa joined the ranks of the New Republic a decade after the Battle of Endor, shortly after the RDF and Green Squadron helped to liberate the Halthor Sector from Imperial rule. He was eventually placed in Green Squadron around 11 ABE and has flown with the distinguished unit ever since.
