Doctor Melmit Waltrap was a Duros psychologist who worked for the Behavioral Health Unit of Republic Central Medcenter on Coruscant. In 28 ABY, Waltrap was summoned to work in the E-7 Mental Observation Unit of the Bedacus-Lambrecht Correctional Facility, alongside Dr. Gawynn Karastee. Among his other duties, Waltrap administered behavioral modification and cognitive therapy to Zuckuss, a Gand former bounty hunter.
