Umon Torimonochō (右門捕物帖 Umon Torimonochō) is the name of a series of comic samurai detective stories. Dozens of films based on these stories have been made since the silent era. In the late 1950s and early 1960s Toei made a series of seven Umon Torimonochō films starring Ryūtarō Ōtomo.
