Chieti was a city on Europa Nova. In 2376, during the Gateways Crisis, Chieti was threatened when theta radiation from a Malon ship in the Delta Quadrant came through an Iconian gateway near Europa Nova. During the crisis, Kira Nerys assigned Kasidy Yates to evacuate the residents of Chieti onto the SS Xhosa. The radiation in Chieti later rose to fatal levels.
