The Commander is the head of the WASP corporation. He wants to capture the Autobots and reprogam them for his own uses. The Commander is a military man, and is thus strict on discipline and order. All who disobey are mind wiped and dumped on the street. The Commander is less gung-ho than his second in command, Sgt. Octavius, but is still willing to use force to get what he wants. However, the Autobots (especially Grimlock and Cliffjumper) are easily able to defend themselves.
