The Niburon colonies were colonies located near Tandaran territory. In 2151 or 2152, Danik and other Suliban wanted to go to the Niburon colonies after fleeing Detention Complex 26, as Danik knew some people there. (ENT: "Detained") According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 60), there was a star system named Niburon (Mu Ceti), in which these colonies might possibly have been located, in the Alpha Quadrant. This was a binary system with a pair of F-class stars.
