Leia was born in the Young Ones on August 18, 1999. Her mother was Morgause, and her father was Keros. She had two litter-mates: one sister named Amidalia and one male. Sadly, her brother was soon predated on November 21, but Leia and her sister survived their first few months. Leia mated with a rover and became pregnant at nine months of age. Normally, meerkats became old enough to breed at twelve months old. Leia gave birth to one pup named Mickey Weasel on May 8, 2000. Her son survived and she made it to a year of age.
