Emiraa Kwan was a Napean female. She was the wife of Ronald Kwan and the mother of Daniel Kwan. Her name appeared on Daniel's personnel file. Daniel inherited his mother's empathic abilities. In 2370, following Kwan's suicide, Maddy Calloway recalled Kwan teasing her about meeting Emiraa, saying she "wouldn't be able to get away with anything."' (TNG: "Eye of the Beholder" ) The Starship Creator video game gives her name as Da'anira Kwan.
