The International Paradox Society, or IPS, is the forerunner of the Time Agents and the Time Police. They were founded in the year (according to their multiversal calendar) B₢111-41₪A5 M.C. (2010 Universe of Universe time) by unknown entities. However, we do know that the IPS was not under the command of the Multiversal Court, as the Agents and Police were. Therefore, this meant that the IPS was forced to be a commercial company, resolving paradoxes for money. At some point, however, the Multiversal Court hired the IPS on a permanent basis and changed their name to the Time Agents. At another point, the Time Agents were supplanted by the Time Police.
