Stephen Fineren (credited on ten occasions as "Steve Fineren") was the designer of thirty-nine episodes of Coronation Street from September to October 1975, March 1976 and from August to October 1991. A long-term designer for Granada Television, he also worked on The Cuckoo Waltz, Take My Wife..., The Mallens, Cribb, Studio, Bulman, The Practice, The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes, Maigret, Cracker, The Last Train and the 2002 dramatisation of The Forsyte Saga among many other productions.
