The party was founded in 4127 by Murlol Thaller and various members of the democratic wing of the DDP and some surviving members of the PDV. It was supposed to fill up the gap that the DDP and the PDV had left in the political landscape of Darnussia. While it shares some of the extreme views of the DDP Murlol Thaller said that his party will devote itself to democracy. The party still favors a monarchy but the official program is to install a constitutional monarchy without he possibility of a totalitarian government.
