Stanley Dawson (12th September 1936 - 12th March 2003) played two roles on Coronation Street: * a hospital Male Orderly in November 1969 who looked after Ray Langton * Sergeant Harrison, who helped evacuate the street after a gas leak in March 1973 and who attended when Stuart Draper drove his car into the Rovers Return Inn in February 1974. His worked on television mainly for Granada and his other credits include City '68, Spindoe, The War of Darkie Pilbeam (scripted by Tony Warren), Shabby Tiger, Sam, Village Hall, The Cuckoo Waltz, The Liver Birds and Crown Court.
