The USS Repulse (NCC-71359) was a Nebula-class Federation starship in service during the latter half of the 24th century. The ship was launched from Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards in 2370 to replace the aging Excelsior-class starship of the same name, which was decommissioned in 2369. She is the third starship to bear the name. Her commanding officer upon launch was Captain James Farrell. The ship's first mission was to escort Federation colonists to the remote world of Eden Prime. (Star Trek: The Nomad Frontier: "Baptism of Fire")
