Marlon is confused and angry that Laurel has not said this before. Marlon explains that he can't cope with the heartache again, or to be her plan B just because it has gone wrong with Ashley. Soon afterwards, Marlon opens up to Chas about what has just happened. Marlon explains his concerns, but adds that his biggest fear is moving to New Zealand and leaving Laurel behind. Later, Laurel returns to the pub to talk to Marlon alone. She lays her heart on the line and questions whether he too still loves her. Marlon admits that he does, and soon Laurel and Marlon are together in a bittersweet reunion, with the knowledge that Marlon is about to move to New Zealand for two years. Meanwhile, Debbie continues to quiz Chas about whether she suspects Cameron is up to something behind her back. Chas
