The Explorer Kit (Japanese: たんけんセット Digger Set) is a Key Item from Diamond, Pearl and Platinum that allows the player to access the Underground. The Explorer Kit is received from the old man in Eterna City, who also gives the player tasks to complete in the Underground. In the game, it is described as "a bag filled with convenient tools for exploring".
