Drift King: Next Generation Drifters is a 2016 Japanese animated series created by Chaossy, and is directed by Satoshi Amada and Junuchi Masada. It is the last RaGE Media production to be animated with outside animated companies. It is a reboot of the original Drift King. It will be animated by Production I.G. and Madhouse with help from Studio Gainax and AniNick Animation. In mid February, it was announced that the series will have 26 episodes per season. A second season has already been announced, to be aired in late 2016 in Japan, and during the summer in the United States.
