Anne Cassidy is the widow of a fellow agent. She started a relationship with special agent Jack Malone in the fourth season. Soon after they started dating, she got pregnant, which was an unpleasant surprise to both of them. With her unexpected pregnancy a couple weeks later she lost the baby. The miscarriage abruptly ends their relationship.
