Bahriyya was the Master Mage to Tancred on his travels from the far north west of Khul down to the land beyond the River Swordflow acting as his advisor on all matters. Barhiyya was the advisor also to both Tancred's father and grandfather but bided his time before he approached both Tancred and Orghuz with a vision of a realm in the south. He created a crystal known as the Crystal of Bahriyya.
