Irstat-Kes was a title that was held by the tribal leaders of the Tarasin, a sentient species from the planet Cularin. Each Tarasin irstat, the tribal groups in which they lived, had an Irstat-Kes, who was normally the second eldest female in the irstat. Irstat-Kes meant "tribal leader" and most Irtstat-Kes' were Force Adepts, although this was not required. The Tarasin Cryalira was the Irstat-Kes of the Hiironi irstat, while Mir'Liss was the Irstat-Kes of the Jaraana irstat.
