In "Rollerghoster!", published in Marvel Comics Annual 1990, Peter Venkman takes some children on a rollercoaster ride. There, a "Fungeist" (a phantom from the funless dimensions) takes possession of the ride. Egon, Ray and Winston fire their proton packs at the girders and cause a full protonic reversal, dispersing the spirit.
