A slipper was a type of light shoe, usually worn indoors. Rain slippers and wedding slippers were specialized varieties. In the Human story Cinderella, the female lead character wore glass slippers. When Teresa Ross was about to change back from a dress into her uniform in 2267, Captain Kirk told her to "turn in your glass slippers. The ball is over." (TOS: "The Squire of Gothos" ) In 2371, upon returning home from work, Tolen Ren planned to put on his slippers. (VOY: "Ex Post Facto")
