Built to be the anointed guardians of the Krittain system, the Arsenal-class heavy cruisers are powerful, well-balanced warships of the Krittish people. While Krittain is a very crowded star system, with over 200 planetary bodies, only three of these cruisers were constructed to suit this protection role, augmented by several dozen small cutters and patrol corvettes. Their success and prowess is so substantial that the class, while limited in number, has fueled an up-sweep in military confidence and spawned a new class of carrier, based on this ship's lines and components.
