Sportverein Donawitz was a sports club located in the Upper Styria region of Austria. On November 30, 1934, the club's hockey section was admitted to the Austrian Ice Hockey Federation (OEHV) as a provisional member. In the 1934-35 Austrian Championship, Donawitz finished fourth out of six teams in the Eastern Group of the Provincial Championship's 2. Klasse. They became an associate member of the OEHV on April 7, 1935.
