The United Confederation for Freedom was a rebel faction formed entirely by Humans. At its height in 2562, it consisted of eight thousand soldiers, four armed vessels, and maintained "chapters" on five planets, the first chapter originating on the humble industrial colony Tate. The Confederation, alongside more than a dozen others, was eliminated during the Splinter War in the wake of the Colonial Protectorate and UNSC sympathizer forces that would later form the United Federation to Restore Humanity.
