Yosten was a sage from the city of Procampur in the Vast. Yosten made a study of the mysterious gigantic stone carvings on the island of Paldir in the Sea of Fallen Stars. As they showed no hand- or foot-holds for their construction, Yosten speculated that the workers began at the top and worked their way down, carving away signs of their work as they went.
