The Captain Proton Comatizer was a fictional weapon mentioned by Harry Kim in a sarcastic response to Tuvok's accusation that he may have been responsible for attacks on ex-Maquis crewmembers on USS Voyager in 2377. The accusation stemmed from a letter sent to Kim by his cousin Dennis, in which Harry was informed that his friend Maxwell Soroyan had been killed by Maquis. Upon being confronted with this fact, Kim replied, "You got me, Tuvok. I confess. I was so distraught after hearing Max's name that I fired my Captain Proton Comatizer at every Maquis I could find."
