"Holidays of Future Passed" is the eleventh Christmas-themed episode of The Simpsons, originally aired as part of the show's 23rd season on December 11, 2011. It was nominated for the 2012 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program (for Programming Less Than One Hour); however, it lost to the The Penguins of Madagascar episode "The Return of the Revenge of Dr. Blowhole".
