The Shadow Elders are a group of mysterious people operating in both Elysea and Asmodae. Commonly referred to as "shadows", they believe that corruption has made its way into the hearts of the Empyrean Lords and seek to end the war between the two races, which should ultimately lead to the re-unification of Atreia. Due to these and similar claims they have been branded as criminals and heretics by both governments, and are thus forced to operate in secret.
