On November 26 2004, Rogers Communications received approval for a new News/Talk commercial FM radio station in Halifax to operate on the frequency 95.7 MHz. It launched on October 11, 2005 @ 5:30 AM The station is networked with CKNI in Moncton & CHNI in Saint John, New Brunswick. All talk programming on the 3 stations is identical.
