The league dropped from 8 to 7 teams when Wolfpacks Wanderers folded after the conclusion of the previous season and the club was terminated by the league on April 9, 2013. Moenchengladbach were renamed for the fourth time in the club's history when they became the Zharr Nagrund Ziggurats during the pre-season on April 8, 2013. On June 13, 2013 the league increase the maximum roster limit from 20 player to 23 players.
