During the pilot, Dark Knight, Det. Nicholas Knight worked out of the 27th Precinct police station. This set was used throughout seaon one. However, when the series went on hiatus and then was effectively cancelled for eighteen months, the set was struck. When the series returned, a new set was constructed and Det. Nicholas Knight and Det. Don Schanke were reassigned to the 96th precinct.
