The Kolaran buggy was a lightly-armored combat vehicle used by the Kolarus III natives. It was armed with projectile weapons. The natives employed these vehicles, as well as Kolaran armored cars, for territorial defense against a Federation away team led by Jean-Luc Picard using their own desert-terrain vehicle.
