Breaking News is a rolling news feed that appeared in the Control Zone of Sonic the Comic Online. Running from Issue 251 to Issue 255 and then again from Issue 258, as well as Sonic the Easter Special, the information service provided snippets of important news stories that took place during the New Robotnik Empire's invasion of Mobius. Throughout its run, the feature introduced several new or game-related Zones and often provided a comical spin on the war.
