John David "Catch" Carlson, Jr. (born May 12, 1984, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, U.S.) is an American football tight end for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Notre Dame.
