It was the eighth event produced under the Armageddon name and starred wrestlers from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. Armageddon grossed over $450,000 in ticket sales from an attendance of approximately 11,000 and received 237,000 pay-per-view buys, and was instrumental in helping WWE increase its pay-per-view revenue by $11.9 million compared to the previous year.
