The series featured Duncan MacLeod (Adrian Paul), Connor's fellow clansman, as the main character, with Christopher Lambert making an appearance in the pilot episode. An international hit, the series was nominated three times for a Gemini Award and once for a Saturn Award in 1998. Although there was talk of a remake of the series back in 2009 with Connor MacLeod once again serving as the main character, there has been no further developement.
