Futsie was the 21st and 22nd century term used in Mega-City One for citizens who suffered from Future Shock and had thus attracted the attention of Justice Department by consequently breaking the law. Futsies were unable to stand the pace of 21st century living and went into mad killing frenzies. Mega-City One Justice Department gave futsies medical treatment rather than prison sentences. Futsies were sentenced to time in a kook-cube, rather than the iso-cubes.
